As I looked outside the window tonight, the soft glow of the moon caught my attention. I could see the moon staring back at me with so much quiet love and reassurance. I realized how the moon mirrors the people who truly are meant to be in our lives. Something stirred deep within me at that moment.
They may not always be close by.
They may be miles apart, oceans apart...sometimes eternity apart.
But still, they shine through by bringing love, warmth and light into our lives no matter the distance.
They don't drift away by the wind.
They do not vanish into thin air.
Or appear once in a blue moon.
Instead, they illuminate their presence even when out of sight.
No distance, no circumstance can come between the bond that is built on truth and genuine connection.
So tonight, I hold onto this truth-
Love that is real, does not need to be clamorous always. It needs to be constant, like the moon....
Always present, spreading the light all over.
